They're loud, they're hard, they're uncompromising! Theyhave the power to move their audience with their charismatic brand of heavy metaland Faustus has done just that since their inception in the winter of 1992. Consistently playing the Seattle/Portland area and capturing support slots for Dio, Flotsam & Jetsam, Malevolent Creation, Skinlab, Sacred Reich, Kreator, and Overdose, as well as shows with locals Nevermore.

Collectively, Faustus' influences range from Judas Priestand Iron Maiden to Machine Head and At the Gates. Chris' wild, go for the throat sound is complimented by Curran's (formerly of Nevermore) structured, technical stylings. Dane's vocals range from low-end guttural growls to high-end banshee wails. John's thunderous bass lines and Steve's jazzy, yet brutal drum work make up a solid, aggressive foundation. Together, they bring fresh ideas to an old standard.

Chris, Curran, Dane, John, and Steve will continue to work hard to achieve their goals. Faustus has released an eight song, full-length CD, distributed by Relapse Records mail order. Currently in pre-production for their next CD release, Faustus is soliciting management and label support.
